Ed,

Yeah, I'm still working on it.. The project just expanded more than I
originally anticipated though. Basically, I decided that instead of
modifying WirelessDriver to work with bsd-airtools I'm going to port the
openbsd if_wi driver to darwin.

The basic goal of this is to create a fully *bsd compatible driver that runs
on darwin so that additions and fixes to the generic *bsd if_wi driver can
easily be merged into the darwin driver (this includes hostap support and
all of the other nifty features). The other downside/upside of this is that
you will be able to use wicontrol to configure your interface from console
as well as have basic ioctl compatibility with pretty much any *bsd apps
that utilize the if_wi driver. I'm also hoping that the framework that I put
together will aid in porting other generic *bsd drivers to darwin
(essentially the driver is just creating it's basic c++ hooks into the OS
and interfacing directly with the c driver functions to create a relay).

AirDriver should be finished soon, but I don't really want to give any
estimates since I'm a newbie when it comes to driver coding and c++ in
general. Just wanted to let everyone know that the project isn't dead and
that it's going to really kick ass when it's finished.

Cheers,
-h1kari
